Birthday Book Club Donation Program for Lincoln Heights Library
Are you looking for a special way to honor your child this school year? Why not donate a book to the Lincoln Heights Library? Even if their birthday has already passed, you can still donate a library book. It helps our library collection and leaves a lasting gift in the library.
Mrs. Bobay sends home a donation form during your child's birthday month or if you would like you can download the form below.
Steps to donating a library birthday book.
Please fill out the form.
Send the form to school with a donation check (made out to Lincoln Heights) or cash for $10.
Your child asks his/her teacher to let them come to the library.
Your child will select a book from the “birthday bookshelf” of all-new books for the library.
Mrs. Bobay will put a special bookplate inside of the book showing that the book was donated by your child for his/her birthday.
Mrs. Bobay will take a picture of your child for the birthday book wall in the library.
Your child will be the first person to check out the book!
When your child is finished reading, the book should be returned to the Media Center for all of our students to enjoy.
Thanks in advance for considering this special treat for your child. It is an awesome way to celebrate your child’s birthday and celebrate reading! Contact Mrs. Bobay at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions.
